One Bridge to Idomeni è una onlus veronese che lavora sui confini europei della rotta balcanica, in supporto alle persone migranti alla ricerca di altre possibilità di vita. Il lavoro dell’associazione - nata nella primavera del 2016 con un primo viaggio nel campo per rifugiati informale di Idomeni in Grecia - è suddiviso in due direttrici tra loro inscindibili : da un lato, portare aiuti e sviluppare progetti lungo la rotta, dall’altro ritornare a casa con le testimonianze delle persone e delle storie incontrate. OBTI lavora nei Balcani, dove sono stati attivati progetti in Grecia, Serbia e in Bosnia-Erzegovina, e a Verona, promuovendo incontri, formazioni e attività nelle scuole.
One Bridge to Idomeni is an Italian organization that works along the European borders of the Balkan Route, supporting the people who migrate dreaming of a better life. The journey of the organization began in Greece in 2016 with a mission in Idomeni and is now divided into two main purposes. On the one hand, it brings supplies and develops projects along the route. On the other hand, it comes back to its origin with the witnesses of the volunteers. As mentioned, OBTI works in the Balkans, with projects that have been settled in Greece, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina and in Verona promoting workshops, meetings and school activities.
