🌳 Mission: We care for those who protect the Amazon Rainforest, including the riverine and indigenous communities of Tapajós and parts of the lower Amazon. We serve four municipalities in the Lower Amazon, covering an area of 67,391 km², a territory larger than Switzerland and Belgium combined.
💡 Impact: Francisco dos Santos' story exemplifies the vital impact of our work. At 63, this farmer was diagnosed with colorectal cancer by our team during an expedition and received timely treatment that saved his life. Like Francisco, many have their lives transformed by our presence. In 2023, we conducted 10 of our 24 total expeditions, engaging 228 dedicated volunteers who served over 6,490 people in remote regions.
