The Law Students’ Society, Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOULSS), is the official and foremost body representing all undergraduate law students at the Faculty of Law, Olabisi Onabanjo University.
Established to foster academic excellence, leadership development, and the promotion of justice, OOULSS stands as a vibrant student-led community dedicated to preparing future legal professionals and thought leaders.
Structured as a government in itself, the Society operates through three constitutionally established arms:
* OOULSS Central Executive Council (CEC) - the executive arm responsible for day-to-day administration and implementation of student-centered initiatives.
* OOU Law Students’ Parliamentary Council (LSPC) - the legislative arm tasked with law-making, oversight functions, and policy deliberation.
* OOU Law Judicial Council (LJC) - the judiciary arm that interprets the Society’s Constitution, resolves disputes, and ensures justice within the student body.
Each arm works independently and interdependently to uphold the values of accountability, service, and democratic governance.
Beyond governance, OOULSS drives engagement through academic workshops, moot court competitions, legal aid outreach, policy debates, and professional networking events.
As a Society, we are committed to producing not just excellent law graduates, but responsible citizens and visionary leaders in the legal field and society at large.
