Open Hands' primary purpose is to implement long-term scalable and environmentally friendly solutions to empower and improve the lives of local Nepalese while fully respecting and preserving the long-standing local culture; since the disasters of the 2015 earthquake, there's a lot to rebuild and restore.
Our goal is to help return Nepal to its days of glory by rebuilding homes and schools in remote villages that were at the epicentre of the earthquake with safer building regulations, empower local communities and the local engineering sector by introducing sustainable and modular technology that could help spawn a new industry of building development. Our projects are centralised around optimising work processes and empowering all Nepalese involved.
To date, we have had 0% admin costs, with 100% of all funds raised going straight back to the projects and into the villages. No religion, no political ties or agenda. Just open hands, open heart to help those in need.
