OTB Guy is web app for open-to-buy calculation and inventory analysis. It runs beside your existing POS software, not in place of it. Besides, if your like most shops, your POS software is nothing more than an inventory counting system. 500-page sales and profit reports and a useless replenishment report do nothing to improve your business.
The OTB is a simple 5-step process that involves 3 decisions on your part, including what your planned total shop sales are for the next 12 months, your planned profits and timing. We help you determine the best numbers for the last 2.
At the end of each month, the shop uploads sales, profits and inventory by category to the app and all information is update.
But, more importantly, you have 2 dynamite analysis reports...unlike anything your (weak) POS provider gives you. What they provide you with in inventory management is the equivalent of general ledger entries, not a financial statement with comparisons to point you to problem (and successful) areas. For competitive reasons, I won't share that info with you except in an online demonstration.
It takes 30 minutes to view the demo. I won't pressure you to use my service, because either you'll say you love it and want it or you won't. But it's very affordable, will force you to make more profit dollars and save you the time to create an OTB once or twice a year. And we know how much you hate that.
