Openminds Digital was a marketing consultancy / creative shop that became one of the most respected communication companies in Southern Africa. Among its many achievements, the company served as the brand custodian for the premium lager portfolio for Delta Beverages (ABInBev/SABMiller) for 10 years, taking Zambezi Lager from 1.4% to 39% in volume contribution and receiving International recognition for the creative work done on the Zambezi brand positioning.
The agency had strong digital credentials, providing content and daily social media maintenance for over a dozen large corporations. The company was behind the digital strategy of Econet Wireless and, along with C2 Media, created award-winning websites for Edgars and African Sun. One of the most significant accomplishments was launching the new Cimas brand identity and crafting the iGo Wellness Loyalty program (with creative agency Shift Engage). Both received notable accolades in the annual creative awards.
Beyond digital, some of Openminds' most notable clients included Colcom Foods, Cimas Medical Aid Society, Irvine's Chickens, AMP Meats, Astra Paints, The Mayor's Cheer Fund, Nomads Golf, and the Zimbabwe Football Association.
