Opticote, located in Franklin Park, IL just outside of the Windy City, is one of the leading innovators for ophthalmic lens coating technology since 1973. We apply anti-reflective, solid mirrors, gradient mirrors, anti-fog, and color coatings from our exciting new collections to all type of prescription eyeglass and sunglass lenses. These coatings can be applied to plastic, polycarbonate, and glass. There is no limit to what we can achieve! Our on-time turn around rate was 95% for 2017 and is only getting better by the quarter. Opticote’s client base consists of wholesale laboratories, retail chains, and opticians. In recent years we have built relationships with companies locally and globally that include the US military, architects, plano sunwear providers; we are also involved in the processing of lenses to help the color blind. We help support our community by providing free lenses to help those less fortunate through our local Lyons Club.
