Orange Ribbons For Jaime (ORFJ) is a 501(C)(3) Foundation established in memory of Jaime Guttenberg, one of the seventeen victims of the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, 2018. ORFJ's mission is to honor Jaime's life by supporting causes that were dear to her heart, including performing arts, anti-bullying initiatives, support for children with special needs, and advocating for common-sense gun safety reforms.
Who We Are
ORFJ was founded by Fred and Jennifer Guttenberg, Jaime's parents, with the aim of making a positive impact in areas that were important to Jaime and addressing the societal issues that led to her untimely death.
What We Do
ORFJ supports various organizations and programs aligned with Jaime's passions and values. We provide donations,assistance and scholarships to initiatives such as “Paws of Love”, Jacob’s Pillow, Paley Institute, and the Humane Society of Broward County. Additionally, we actively participate in educational efforts nationwide to promote gun safety and community well-being.

PAWS OF LOVE:
"PAWS OF LOVE" is a program in partnership with Moss Creek Goldendoodles that provides emotional support dogs to eligible individuals and families directly affected by gun violence. Through this program, we honor our daughter Jaime by remembering her love for dogs and her passion for helping others. Eligible families can apply directly on our website. After review by our committee, select families will be chosen to receive their loving puppy, along with their PAWS OF LOVE package.
Orange Ribbons for JAIME SCHOLARSHIP 2024:
Orange Ribbons For Jaime will be awarding scholarships from the proceeds raised to deserving students in honor of Jaime. These scholarships are divided into three categories:
- The Jaime Guttenberg Helping Hands Scholarship
- The Jaime Guttenberg Dance Scholarship
- The Jaime Guttenberg ALL ABILITIES Scholarship
