ORiS provides wireless power transmission using high-precision pointing lasers. ORiS is recognized as NATO DIANA innovators, where defense-related activities involve in-flight recharging of drones. In the space market ORiS is working to implement an innovative in-orbit energy charging service aimed at satellites, with no retrofit required to receive the charging service. Energy is transferred from ORiS' satellites directly to the solar panels of customer satellites. This is made possible by ORiS' technology design, which has been validated in the laboratory and is on the path to validation in the space environment.
