Orkney Ice Cream is produced at Crantit Dairy on the beautiful and idyllic island of Orkney.
The dairy has been in the Bichan family since 1949 and is still owned and managed by the family, and we have been making our fantastic ice cream since 1994.
Our ice cream uses milk and cream sourced exclusively from the Orkney cows on the 17 dairy farms on the main island all within a 20 mile radius of the creamery, and because of our unique climate and spotlessly clean environment, we think we make the creamiest and most delicious ice cream in the world.
And it's so great it's earned a two star great tast award!!
