Promoting and accelerating the energy efficiency renovation of residential buildings in Europe is the aim of the OTTER LIFE project.
OTTER LIFE combines human expertise with a free digital platform to simplify and secure energy renovation work.
Accessible to individuals and co-owners as well as professionals, this tool centralises exchanges, facilitates contact between local professionals and project holders and guides them through each stage of an ambitious renovation project: initial assessment, technical choices, prioritising work and obtaining financial aid.
In order to restore trust among homeowners, OTTER LIFE will enhance transparency, financing options and professional oversight by neutral advisors.
The OTTER initiative, led by a consortium comprising Local Energy and Climate Agency of the Marseille Metropolis (ALEC), CPIE of Pays d’Aix, Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis, City of Marseille, Climat Agency of Strasbourg and POUGET Consultants, is receiving support from the European Commission's LIFE Programme.
