For over 50 years, the University of Oklahoma Law Center has long been a leader in paralegal education. The OU Paralegal Studies Certificate program is ABA-approved. Courses are offered on Saturdays and online (9 credits must be completed on campus), convenient for working adults.
Graduates of the program will be qualified to perform a variety of tasks, including legal research and drafting legal documents. Our graduates work with lawyers in public and private law practice, in the judiciary, corporations and government.
Paralegals cannot give legal advice, accept cases, set legal fees, represent clients in court or perform any legal service without the supervision of a licensed lawyer.
