The Outlaw Flat Four Drag Racing Club was officially formed in January 2006 by several people looking to do something a little different with VW racing. All those involved are either racers or are closely associated with racing. The focus is on heads-up racing between cars powered by VW flat four pushrod-based engines capable of running 12.99 and faster. Though there is a competitive element to racing, the emphasis is on having fun with the cars.
