Hi, I'm Charly, founder of 'Outlined by Earnshaw.'
Outlined by Earnshaw began as a shift away from the world of architecture and into something more personal. While studying, I realised it wasn’t the technical side of buildings that inspired me - it was the sketches, the textures, and the stories behind the spaces. I’ve always loved drawing, but even more than that, I’ve loved using it as a way to connect with people and with moments remembered, places travelled, and people loved.
Now, I create playful, thoughtful prints that celebrate the everyday. Whether it’s the comfort of a shared drink or the chaos of a big life milestone, each illustration starts with simple outlines - shapes that hold meaning, memory and story. My work blends clean lines, colour, and character to spark recognition and joy in the viewer.
Alongside these ready-to-buy prints, I also create fully custom commissions - from wedding venue illustrations and business journeys, to gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, and housewarmings.
