Outrun 38 is a 501C3 charity organization founded in Madison, CT with members around the world. Our organization was founded in April 2014 and since then have more than 6,100 members in 40 countries and have logged more than 420,000 miles of running, walking, swimming, and biking. We promote fitness and healthy living by offering a variety of health based community events and programs throughout the year. Money raised through these programs go to support those living with Cystic Fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of more than 70,000 people worldwide affected with the disease. Contributions and funds raised by Outrun 38 will be used to support those living with Cystic Fibrosis of all ages. Strides in research mean longer, healthier lives and higher median ages. Funding for medical treatment for this newly thriving group is significantly limited. Our goal is to ensure high quality treatment and bright futures for the “healthy sick."
