OWS are owned and managed by our highly motivated team who between them have over 60 years experience within the storage tank, petrochemical, chemical and automotive industries and are able to offer a complete engineering service from concept to fully project managed installation. At OWS our highly skilled workforce are tailored to your individual engineering needs with cost, quality and above all safety as the focus at all times. As we have evolved as a company, we have built our team around our core values, beliefs and reputation which we have worked hard to build up and strive to maintain. At OWS we are proud to be accredited to ISO 9001, Citation Health and Safety approved and Safe Contractor approved. Our aim is to provide our clients with a bespoke service tailored exactly to their needs. All manufacturing and installation is carried out by skilled personnel adhering to current health & safety and environmental legislation. Based in the heart of Birkenhead’s industrial area our 5000 sq workshop with overhead cranes, boasts great road links to the whole of the North West of England and beyond. The entire management team have all progressed from the shop floor and so know exactly what is expected from their highly skilled work force, who work closely together to maintain their exemplary safety record which along with their quality standards is paramount. All welding undertaken by OWS Engineering is done to third party approved Zurich procedures qualified to BSEN 288-1 and ASME IX, covering anything from a carbon steel spool to exotic alloys pipe work.
