Oxbridge Academy was founded in 2014 and began operating as a sixth-form college. It was officially
registered with the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan and approved as a Pearson Test of English
Center in the same year. In 2015, Oxbridge Academy gained approval as an EDEXCEL Center. In
2016, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to operate as a K-12 school. By 2017, the academy
became an approved BTEC center. Oxbridge Academy offers a curriculum that complies with both
national and international standards. As a registered Pearson In-Country Partner, the academy
provides programs and qualifications to students aged 4 (Reception) to 18 years old (Grade 12). The
school is governed by an Advisory Board. Teachers are accountable to the Principal Head of School
and supervised by Division Heads.
