Oxford MEStar Limited is a spin-out company from the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of Oxford University specializing in translational and regenerative medicine. We devote ourselves to a) developing novel technologies; b) offering bioengineering solutions to our clients; and c) technology transfer between the UK and China.
- Developing new technologies:
Using our in-house expertise and working closely with our partners, we develop technologies for regenerative medicine: for cell expansion, auto-decellularisation, and cell transportation.
We also work on 3D bioprinting and in-vitro diagnostic development. We design, manufacture and commercialise the digital bowel health test kit 'measure bowel health'.
Bioengineering solutions:
Our core technologies and expertise include bioprocess design and biomanufacture, transportation of cellular products, cryopreservation and banking of cells, and biomaterial processing and applications.
Technology transfer:
Working closely with partners in China, Oxford MEStar can help clients to understand the Chinese market and reach an extensive network of investors, bio-tech businesses, GMP manufacturing facilities, and marketing and distribution channels in China.
