PACE is a workers' coop that operates using a social enterprise model;
It’s a for-profit business that exists to fulfill its social and environmental mandates of creating employment opportunities for people living with barriers, through recycling programs.
These programs include:
Electronic waste collection and sorting for the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and District of Summerland;
Rebuilds/Refurbishment of donated computer equipment to sell for budget friendly prices;
Mattress disassembly for the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen, District of Summerland and Town of Osoyoos;
and providing labour for Wildstone Construction’s construction waste sort.
The PACE Electronics & E-Waste Centre (located at 105 Martin Street, Penticton, BC) accepts a variety of electronics for recycling or donation to our computer refurbishment department, who find and restore value in computers to resell back to the public for BUDGET FRIENDLY prices!
