Pachamama Culture is a sustainability-oriented international project focused on tour management, live-music production with social responsibility. Founded by Mauricio Lizarazo Prada, an intercultural music professional and activist devoted to initiatives with social responsibility, Pachamama Culture provides a thorough grounding, both in sustainability and the aesthetic concepts of the field in music business, committed to empower independent culture, artists and grassroots initiatives with international scope on climate and socioeconomic justice. Our mission is to produce and co-create sustainable content and solutions to the best use of resources and technology.
During the past years we’ve been developing a platform called Music C•A•R•E•S. This project aims to implement a model of sustainability in the live-music industry. This model will serve as a full-service platform to implement actions to 1) conserve resources, 2) avoid and reduce carbon footprint and 3) optimize the cost/benefit in relation to the production and consumption of live-music events (concerts, festivals, touring). The Music C•A•R•E•S platform supports directly and entirely the SDGs #12, #13 and #17 for responsible production and consumption in the community, climate action and partnerships. We're facing many existential challenges that require a continuous effort from all of us to achieve the SDGs in our fields of expertise, individually and collectively.
Music C•A•R•E•S was awarded the German Award for Sustainability Projects 2022 and is one of the winners in the “Online Platform - Consulting” category.
