Since then, it has received multiple grants and awards from the US Department of Energy, as well as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (under President Obama). This was possible because of the 15 years of research and innovative developmental work, which has resulted in 11 patents worldwide. This was accomplished by Dr. Vijay Mathur.
