The Pacific Justice Network (‘PacificJust’) was established to enable close cooperation between national judicial authorities when investigating and prosecuting serious and core international crimes, including genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
PacificJust’s mandate is to ensure perpetrators do not attain impunity within the Member States.
PacificJust provides a platform for practitioners to exchange operational information and share experience and best practice through biannual or annual meetings. The Network is a unique forum, with national authorities joining Observer States and associate organisations from the Pacific Rim, as well as the European Union, United Nations and civil society, in a common goal: the fight against impunity.
