The court process can be incredibly daunting for a witness, particularly for children and victims of sexual or domestic abuse and violent crimes. Our ultimate goal is to ensure every child and vulnerable victim and witness is supported through the stressful process of giving evidence, empowered throughout their justice journey.
PACT educates, empowers and supports victims and witnesses to crime as they prepare to give evidence, helping them understand the legal system and being by their side as they give their best evidence in court. PACT is recognised as one of the peak non-profit organisations working in the field of victim support.
PACT's Child Witness Support Program uses carefully selected and trained volunteer PACT Support Persons to support victims who must give evidence in the court system, and their families.
