Pakistan Engineers Forum (PEF) has the following Objectives:
(1). To identify and mobilize Engineers who support the Vision of PEF and create a vibrant organization by getting maximum engineers enrolled as members of PEF.
(2). To deploy different techniques to update the knowledge & skill of PEF community and to increase professional competency of engineers.
(3). To Struggle for Rights of Engineers in public as well private sector with a special emphasis on Service Structure for Engineers.
(4). To Play an active role in Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Institute of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) and other Engineering Institutions for resolving issues confronting Engineers & Engineering Profession in general and strive to gain leading role in those institutions to achieve PEF objectives.
(5). To Review all Engineering Regulations such as PEC Act, PPRA Act, PPRA Rules, PEC Bylaws, PEC Bidding Documents etc on regular basis and to point out deficiencies and suggest improvement through PEF Engineering Regulations Committee. Interpretations of PEC Regulations, Capacity building of Engineers on these issues, Review & Drafting of relevant Federal/Provincial enactment pertaining to Engineering regulations including those for bettement of Engineers and Engineering profession. Coordination with CPD Committee for improvement and hassle free transparent licensing system for Professional Engineers.
(6).To Bring reforms in engineering sector so as to increase job opportunities & job creation for engineers and help fresh engineering graduates in getting internships and referrals for job placement.
(7). To make purpose-oriented and sustainable efforts to combat odds (specially corruption & malpractices) prevailing in the Engineering profession.
(8). To make tangible efforts for bringing Pakistan at par with the world technology leaders. Advise the government on major National Engineering issues like Energy crisis, Water crisis,Environment protection etc.
