About Palais Liechtenstein - The Princely Palaces

The Liechtenstein GARDEN PALACE and CITY PALACE are among the most magnificent venues for luxury events in Vienna. Both palaces are deeply rooted in Vienna's history - built over 300 years ago by one of the oldest noble families in Europe, the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. The GARDEN PALACE with its opulent size and magnificent gardens is a perfect backdrop for premium events in a private, luxurious atmosphere. The stunning symbiosis of nature, architecture and masterpieces of art history convey an impression of aristocratic life. The palace is available for events such as cocktail receptions, gala dinners, concerts, weddings, film- and photo-shoots or conferences. The light and airy Sala Terrena and the 530 m2 Hercules Hall, which is regarded as the largest secular baroque hall in Vienna, turn experiences into wonderful memories. Once the residence of the Princes von und zu Liechtenstein, the Liechtenstein CITY PALACE at the heart of Vienna is among the most magnificent events venues in the city. After an extensive program of restoration lasting five years, the palace is now resplendent in all its former glory. It is held to be the first major building of the High Baroque age in Vienna. The centerpiece of both palaces, the private art collection of the Prince von und zu Liechtenstein, contains masterpieces of art from the early Renaissance to the Biedermeier era and offers guests the chance to acquaint themselves with a tradition of collecting that spans more than four centuries. The Princely Collections can only be viewed during exclusive events, private guided or public guided tours taking place twice a month.
