Ms. Davis currently serves on the OAC National Board of Directors and as chair of the OAC Convention Planning Committee. Ms. Davis has served in multiple volunteer roles including service as Past-president of the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee, Chair of the Integrated Health Clinical Issues and Guidelines Committee of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and on the Executive Council of ASMBS. In 2007, she received the Award of Service Excellence from the Case Management Society of America and in 2015 received the Integrated Health Circle of Excellence award from the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
As a gastric bypass patient 19-years post-op and a nurse with 16 years experience working with those affected by obesity, combined with her volunteer efforts, Ms. Davis strives to move the needle on obesity prevention and treatment.
