PANTHER is the first challenge dedicated to pancreatic tumor segmentation on MRI, addressing both diagnostic and treatment planning needs. This challenge offers a unique opportunity to develop and benchmark deep learning models for pancreatic cancer segmentation across diverse MRI sequences.
The challenge comprises two key tasks: one focused on automating tumor delineation in diagnostic MRIs, essential for accurate staging and treatment planning; and another targeting tumor segmentation in MR-Linac MRIs to support real-time adaptive radiotherapy. With access to both annotated and unannotated data, participants can explore techniques such as transfer learning, self-supervised pretraining, and few-shot learning. Overall, PANTHER aims to foster innovative AI solutions that reduce manual segmentation workload, improve accuracy, and accelerate clinical workflows.
