Papilles Co., Ltd. Overview

In 2006, "Wine Shop FUJIMARU" opened. As a commercial wine shop that connects producers and restaurants, we have over 2,000 clients nationwide, and we as a wine merchant dispatches instructors to French and Italian restaurants as well as wine schools, and organizes various events. Since 2010, we have leased some vineyards being abandoned due to a rapidly aging society, having recently been raised as a social issue, and grow our own grapes such as Delaware. As a pioneer of urban wineries, we established Shimanouchi Fujimaru Winery in Osaka and Kiyosumi Shirakawa Fujimaru Winery in Tokyo, where we make our own wine. What’s more, we operate wine retail shops and restaurants that play a role as a wedge between food producers and consumers, and we propose creative menus that call for wine made from ingredients produced by domestic farmers and manufacturers with a strong commitment and passion. In 2020, we also acquired a shochu distillery in Ehime Prefecture, and are now taking on the challenge of distilling shochu and domestic spirits (brandy, etc.).
