Founded in 2009, Parasol Project is a community-based arts and performance organization. Our goal is to engage and build unity through avenues of expression including participatory, environmental, and spectacular arts. We are developing opportunities and collaborations with local to global creative communities. Our warehouse space, Parasol, in the Lost Barrio is a home to classes/workshops, exhibitions, performances, affordable rehearsal/studio hours, and community gatherings. Through outreach and partnerships we are connecting to Tucson’s people, culture, and vitality, contributing to a strong and sustainable city.
