Founded in 2007. Parks and Records is a small independent record label in the San Francisco bay-area dedicated to protecting the great outdoors and building a community of passionate musicians and fans. A percentage of all sales go to nonprofits like the National Parks Conservation Association and National Park Foundation.
Our DIY aim is two-fold: 1.) Market and sell the recorded music (and related merchandise) of artists whose music makes us think, smile, and at times, pump a fist into the air and 2.) operate with a light footprint and give back to "park protecting" nonprofits.
Along the way (and we are really just getting started) we enjoy camping, collaborating with friends around the world, keeping it real, and having a laugh.
