Alliance advocating for informal carers; to acknowledge their important contribution and improve rights and conditions for the 800 000 informal carers in Norway. They are a vital part of the care and help for sick, disabled and elderly people , providing 50 % of all the help they need. The largest group of carers have to combine the care with with paid work . Nearly 70 % of informal care is done by women. We need to improve the conditions to make the care fair and share it better , to colse this gender gap.
