Pathologists’ Laboratory, P.C. (PLPC) has been a community-based pathology group for over thirty years, holding ourselves to the highest standards of pathology practice. We are comprised of board certified pathologists with expertise in both anatomic and clinical pathology. We offer a very rapid turnaround time, which means that most of our cases are completed and the diagnosis is reported within 1 business day, operating on a 6 day work week. We operate a full service cytology laboratory with rapid reporting of Pap smear results. A typical Pap smear result will be available in about 3-4 business days. In practical terms, this means that there is less waiting for results with less uncertainty and less anxiety and therapeutic planning can proceed at a faster pace. We never forget that the tissue is from a live patient in need of an accurate diagnosis.
