Peace Museum Vienna is a museum in Vienna, Austria connected with the Peace Hero Museums organisation which seeks to educate about peace and foster peace discussions within the community of Vienna. The museum works to contribute to world peace by educating the public about peace heroes to inspire everyday peace actions. The museum provides a physical space which serves as a meeting point for discussions on peace, an exhibition hall, a centre for the presentation of movies and documentaries, as well as its wonderful peace kitchen events. PMV is also known for its ‘Windows for Peace’ project, which is concentrated around Stephansplatz in the centre of Vienna.
