Peace Studies (ISSN 3042-6529) is an international, cross-disciplinary, scholarly, open access journal covering—both in theory and practice—conflict resolution, peacebuilding, mediation, reconciliation, and transitional justice with related topics (e.g., human rights, sustainable development) framed in direct connection to peace.
Aware of the importance of peace and achieving sustainable development for humanity, the Peace Studies journal strives to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations and explicitly linking peace studies to relevant SDGs like Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). As a transdisciplinary journal, Peace Studies supports open access and open science whilst encouraging researchers to provide full experimental and methodological details so that results can be reproduced and assessed, and specific methods relevant to peace studies, such as qualitative case studies, participatory research, and policy analysis.
