Founded in 2013 by Serena Whitefield who started from her London flat providing 100% gluten free cakes for small cafes as well as festivals and markets. In 2016 Pearl & Groove opened their doors to their first store on Portobello Road, London. Since then they have been growing their database, building their range of 'healthy cakes' with refined sugar free cakes, dairy free, and vegan cakes. With everything still being 100% gluten free.
They deliver cakes all over London, offer afternoon tea, hampers, corporate catering and wedding cakes. The signature mini loaves have a recognisable design and the celebration cakes are modern, creative and rustic.
The cafe is situated at the north end of Portobello Road and offers an all day brunch menu, vegan salads, cold pressed juices, coffee from NUDE roasters and tea from Good & Proper tea company.
Pearl & Groove believe in taste and quality above anything else. The free from element is a happy coincidence. Using minimal ingredients, mainly ground almonds and no flour, making these products premium but ensuring that all the flavours speak for themselves.
They have a proper party attitude, making sure that every customer is excited from beginning to end. Cake is so much more than just the consumption and free from cakes don't have to stop the party!
Pearl & Groove are growing their product range, always updating their website with new flavours, branching into desserts and afternoon teas and continuing the party! OMG! It's gluten free.
