Pediatric Stroke Warriors is committed to serving the needs of children, their families and the medical professionals involved in their care. Family founded in 2015, Pediatric Stroke Warriors has grown into the largest childhood stroke related nonprofit based out of the Pacific Northwest Region. We are dedicated to a mission of building community awareness for pediatric stroke among general and medical communities alike, and hope and support to all impacted children and their families.
At the very heart of this mission is children. We believe that increasing awareness leads to a quicker recognition of stroke in a child, and that having a foundation in support can help a child flourish to their greatest potential after stroke.
In addition to a focus on raising awareness about pediatric stroke to increase understanding and early diagnosis, Pediatric Stroke Warriors works to ensure families are getting support right from the very start. Through our support network, Stroke Fund, Helping Hands Therapy Grants, Warrior Bags and Brave Box program, advocacy in education and distribution of sound resources related to pediatric stroke- we continue to strengthen communities and make a difference for children impacted by stroke!
