The Pediatrics Student Interest Group (PSIG) is a student-led initiative at Jinnah Medical & Dental College, Karachi (JMDC) that brings together medical and allied health students with a shared passion for pediatrics.
At its core, PSIG was founded to fill a gap — to create a space where students could explore pediatrics beyond textbooks through meaningful, real-world experiences. Our mission is to foster learning through early clinical exposure, collaborative opportunities, and leadership development.
We organize pediatric-focused workshops, outreach programs, and awareness campaigns — conducted both on campus and in underserved or remote areas — all with one goal: to inspire the next generation of child health advocates.
