Pedlars and Petticoats is a performance company dedicated to bringing Hidden History to life. Women's History and folklore are particular areas of expertise. We are Associate Artists of Proteus Theatre Company
We provide live, scripted, interactive and bespoke performance in Heritage venues.
We are experienced story tellers bringing imaginative live experience to audiences of all ages. Includes the "Box of Treasures" story-telling with exciting and intriguing handling objects for groups of children.
We provide history and issue based education sessions and workshops across primary and secondary schools.
Our character talks are hugely popular with groups and societies and provide a unique opportunity to hear in person and in costume from someone from the past. Topics include the Suffragettes, Wartime make Do and mend, Jane Austen, Strange Tales and hidden histories, The story of Tea and Tea etiquette, and many more.
We can supply bespoke heritage training for venues and organisations.
We can provide off the peg or bespoke Murder Mystery experiences.
