In 2006, Pekat ventured into Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, partnering with world renowned brands and products through its subsidiary, Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd, the first to receive ISO 50001:2011 accreditation in Energy Management System. Pekat Solar is registered with SEDA as Registered Photovoltaic Service Provider (RPVSP) and Investor (RPVI). Products carried by Pekat Solar are also certified by MGTC (Malaysian Green Technology Corporation) through MyHijau brand marking.
