Seit über 20 Jahren ist der Verein People's Theater im Bereich Demokratieförderung und Gewaltprävention an Schulen aktiv. Hauptaugenmerk liegt auf der Vermittlung von sozialen Kompetenzen. Dafür wurde People's Theater bereits mehrfach bundesweit ausgezeichnet.
Kernstück des Vereins sind Kompetenztrainings, die mit theaterpädagogischen Methoden eine erlebnisorientierte Lernatmosphäre schaffen.
