We’ve been around for nine years now, but new to the Houston area. Our mission is to truly give you what your Pet Wants. Our dry dog and cat food is made monthly, at low temperatures, in small batches – the freshness and cooking method locks in the nutrients so they are available for your pet. All other pet food is made, shipped to warehouses, then to stores and possibly their warehouses, then stocked at a local store, put out on display by staff, and hopefully you purchase it within months – not years – of actual cooking. But Pet Wants delivers the food to you free of charge (if in the loop, Bellaire, Oak Forest / Garden Oaks) monthly, weeks after it’s made! To get the best nutrition, however, you need to start with quality ingredients. All our ingredients are sourced responsibly, from the best sources we can find (Beef – North and South America, Salmon – North America, Lamb – New Zealand). We never use soy, corn, wheat, artificial preservatives, by-products, or fillers.
I’m happy to walk through the ingredient panel of any food and talk about what is listed – all of our Pet Wants ingredients serve a purpose and knowing what’s in your food is important for you, so it should be for your pets too! Ariana (my wife) and I have seen the benefit of better nutrition in our lives, so when we heard about Pet Wants we were stoked to give it to our pups and see the difference. It made a difference for them too – energy, coat, skin, etc. all improved. So, to get a chance to bring this great food to pet lovers in Houston – doing something I enjoy and making a positive impact – was a natural fit for us.
With the same vigor and care we’ve taken for the food, we have also made and selected treats, chewables, “spaw” products, and supplements to help any dog or cat.
