Philip Leeson Architects is an award-winning Canberran architecture practice founded in 1996 Philip Leeson Architects is an independently owned, award-winning architecture firm based in Canberra. Philip Leeson is the founder and director of the practice and leads a passionate team of architects, interior designers and heritage consultants working on residential, commercial, heritage and cultural projects. Since 1996 the practice has worked on over 1000 projects in and around Canberra. Many of our projects are culturally significant and, in some cases, hold an iconic place in the Canberra psyche. Our architectural expertise and portfolio includes new residential, multi-residential, alterations, additions, interior design, cultural, commercial and heritage and conservation work, including the operation of the ACT Heritage Advisory Service. Our unwavering commitment to excellence has assured the practice of an outstanding reputation, reflected in the many architectural and related industry awards we have received. Philip has been practising architecture for over 35 years and is a regular consultant to government and industry groups. He has presided over the ACT branch of the Australian Institute of Architects and has been awarded a lifelong fellowship to the Insitute. He leads a team of eleven architects, interior designers, designers and consultants specialising in residential architecture, interior design, commercial architecture, heritage architecture, project management and heritage conservation.
