Photovoltaic System (PVS) Laboratory has been established in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) faculty at the University of Tehran (UT) by the late Prof. Shahrokh Farhangi. We are a leading research group in Power Electronics for PV systems directed by Dr. Mohsen Hamzeh. Our goal is to perform research in the area of cutting-edge power electronics, innovative energy harvesting systems, and advanced control strategies for photovoltaic converters. Our facility, equipped with modern technology, supports over 200 students conducting research on systems dominated by power electronics, including applications in PV systems and modern DC grids. Our mission is to nurture new talent and spearhead industry advancements in power electronics engineering.
