Pierhor-Gasser SA Overview

Deux histoires, une fusion La société Pierhor SA a été fondée en 1899 faisant de celle-ci la plus ancienne fabrique de pierres d’horlogerie encore en activité. Spécialisée depuis sa création dans la production de rubis horlogers, elle sert depuis ses débuts les grandes marques de l’horlogerie Suisse. La société Gasser-Ravussin SA a quant à elle été fondée en 1927. Spécialisée également dans la production de pierres d’horlogerie, elle fût pionnière dans l’usinage laser du rubis et du saphir et elle a développé rapidement des diversifications non horlogères à destination de marchés internationaux. L’année 2017 marque le début d’une nouvelle aventure pour ces deux entreprises qui sont acquises par le groupe Acrotec. En 2018 les deux sociétés fusionnent sur l’ancien site de production de Pierhor SA à Ecublens pour devenir Pierhor-Gasser SA. Cette nouvelle entité indépendante mutualise plus de 200 ans de savoir-faire au service de l’horlogerie tout en s’ouvrant aux marchés industriels internationaux non horlogers.
