Pineridge Group Overview

In 2018, Pineridge transitioned to become the investment vehicle for the Dickhout family. Pineridge manages a portfolio of public and private investments across multiple asset classes – with a thematic tilt toward sustainability History: Together with Swander Pace Capital (SPC) and Roynat Capital, Roger Dickhout founded Pineridge Group in 2004 to build a portfolio of rapidly expanding, innovative and socially responsible food and consumer goods manufacturers. Over the course of 13 years, as CEO , Roger collaborated with SPC to acquire 12 companies and build and exit three successful platforms - spanning: organic yogurt (Liberte); baked goods (Pineridge Bakery) and eco-friendly cleaning products (Lavo) In 2004 Pineridge acquired Liberté - Canada's leading producer of natural and organic yogurt - and led the company on a major expansion of its market position over the following six years. In December 2010 Liberté was sold to Yoplait France. In April 2014 Pineridge Bakery – our baking platform that was built on the acquisition of Gourmet Baker Inc. and Oakrun Farm Bakery Ltd. in 2007 – was sold to ARYZTA AG. Over the course of seven years Pineridge Group integrated the operations of the two acquired companies and created a North American leader in the specialty baked goods segment. Lavo is a leading manufacturer of eco-friendly household cleaning products including liquid laundry detergent, fabric softener, all purpose cleaners, and bleach. Based in Montreal, Lavo was acquired by Swander Pace Capital in 2008 and was integrated with Pineridge Group in early 2010. After successfully growing the company's brands, acquiring other brands and expanding its margins, Lavo was sold to KIK custom products in 2017.
