Hi! I’m Sarah May, owner and principal writer at Pipette & Quill Scientific Writing.
While earning my PhD in biochemistry, I discovered that I enjoy writing about science more than pipetting away at the lab bench. Since then, I have worked as a scientific writer for the University of Chicago and have written science news stories for general audiences in ASBMB Today.
In 2024, I decided to launch Pipette & Quill to bring my skills and services to the broader scientific community. With my PhD training from an interdisciplinary biomedical sciences program, I’m well-versed in most human health topics.
