Software Developer with a focus on building applications and web services for the internet. I am available worldwide through remote work, and locally in Edinburgh or Glasgow (UK). I have planned and developed high-quality solutions for clients in a range of sectors (SASS, e-commerce, charity, academia). This gives me a broad knowledge of the software development domain, making me an active member in any cross-functional team. My area of expertise is in the design and development of back-end systems for web services, focussing on managing data, networking, security, and the development of distributed services as a whole.
