The Pittsburgh Phage Program (P3) is a multidisciplinary team at the University of Pittsburgh dedicated to advancing therapeutic bacteriophage research. Our mission encompasses phage discovery, biology, pharmacology, and immunogenicity, focusing on combating multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogens. We provide phages for compassionate use and conduct clinical trials to evaluate their safety and efficacy in humans. Our goal is to integrate bacteriophage therapy into mainstream treatments for MDR infections.
