Pixel in the Box is wedding and portrait photography business located in Mauritius. Pixel in the Box focuses on an out-of-the-box philosophy based on a positive way of seeing life, on natural emotions and on a unique image style to create wonderful and unforgettable memories. Pixel in the Box was created in 2010 by Julien Venner, a young French photographer, who recently relocated in Mauritius. Julien is an active member of the Flickr community (www.flickr.com/photos/jubyfc), a place where he finds inspiration in sharing pictures and meeting other photographers from all continents. He experienced almost all types of photography (wedding, portrait, social event, photo reportage, studio, fashion, landscape, sport, animal, macro, ...) and what he likes the most is to share emotions with his images through original compositions. Julien also likes travelling around the world and reporting social life conditions through his images. He already participated to the image collections of numerous Internet sites and famous publications in China, Mauritius, Europe and USA. Julien works and collaborates with Getty Images, the famous american stock photography company. He graduated in photography in 2008, while still working in the finance field in Luxembourg, and launched a small wedding and portrait business which experienced a huge success. Launching "Pixel in the box" in 2010 is the first achievement of his new career path: becoming a full-time wedding and portrait photographer. Julien uses Nikon professional equipment (for digital) and Mamyia and Rolleiflex for film. He works with Blurb (www.blurb.com) to create wonderful wedding albums.
