A world made happier by pizza! PizzaExpress was launched in 1965 by Peter Boizot. Peter visited Italy and fell in love with the pizzas there, when he returned to the UK he failed to find anything of the same quality. Not to be stopped by this Peter decided to do it himself and found the very first PizzaExpress site in London's Wardour Street. Nothing stopped Peter - his Italian oven was too big for the door so he knocked down the wall. Oven in. Oven on. And so it began. 50 years on we have over 600 restaurants in 13 countries - the UAE is seen as a key market and with sites across the Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Ajman, Sharjah and Al Ain, including our famous Jazz@PizzaExpress in JLT and Abu Dhabi. We are committed to creating delicious pizza and amazing experiences across the UAE and the globe.
